Marguerite Marinakis is a potter local to Annapolis, MD. While pursuing an education and career in holistic medicine, pottery was a forgotten passion of mine that I found again when I was gifted a wheel.

 

Self-taught, I put together my studio in the only space freely available to me, an attic with a big window. At The Ceramic Attic, I am dedicated to creating handmade ceramics that resonate with my own heart and the hearts of the homes they find.

 

Each ready-to-use piece is crafted with a focus on functionality and aesthetics, adding a touch of intention to everyday spaces and experiences. Along side functional ware, sculptural ceramics has recently become a focus of mine over the past year, as I develop my own artistic style more deeply. This new direction has been a significant creative outlet, whilst offering me more challenges and learning opportunities.
